May 19 - Trot for the Pot
Trot for the Pot is a one-time only competitive 5k run and fun walk event put on by the Fort Atkinson Project Lead Group by  way of the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce. The race will start at 9:00am on Saturday, May 19th. This event is to raise money for the construction of a bathroom facility at Barrie Park in the heart of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. In addition to providing wonderful green-space and play areas for kids of all ages, the Park also has a beautiful band shell that plays host to concerts and performances. The Park is also located near the bike path.Barrie Park is a wonderful gem in our City that needs but one thing......Hence......Trot for the Pot! The race route will include a tour down part of the bike path. Lots of great prizes and giveaways for all ages, from the most competitive of racers, to those wanting a fun leisurely stroll and for those somewhere in between.
