April 27, 2011 - Dancing Wheels

This phenomenal dance company incorporates dancers both with wheels and without, which means professional stand-up and sit-down (wheelchair) dancers. Dancing Wheels, the founding premier physically integrated dance company, performs, teaches and inspires people of all abilities throughout the world. The 12 member dance ensemble features an extensive body of works ranging from contemporary to classical that are physically inclusive and dramatically unique. Some of the greatest choreographers of today have created pieces for this ensemble and their work is an inspiration.

Distracted - a play by Lisa Loomer - will be presented by Penguin Productions at 7pm at the L.D. Fargo Library in Lake Mills. Distracted is a comedy that explores the struggles of parents with kids who may or may not have ADHD. Warning: adult language.

April 30, 2011 - Pedal for Proceeds

This 24 mile race will travel from the UW-Whitewater campus and work its way through the surrounding area. The start/finish line is near the intersection of Prairie Street and Schwager Drive. The flat course is challenging, but it's a great opportunity for beginners. This is a WISport series event and is an open event.


*All cyclists must wear a Snell or ANSI approved helmet. No aero bars allowed*

April 30, 2011 - Spring Rummage-O-Rama

Rummage sales are held at various residences throughout the Village from 7am to 1pm. Rummage sale listings and maps will be available Friday, April 29th after 4pm at: Premier Bank, Badger Bank, Pernat's, Linmar BP, Pine Cone, Kwik Trip, Dan's Washboard, Tapper's Bar, JC Mobile, Fiesta Garibaldi, Bases Loaded, Culvers, and the Chamber of Commerce.
