The Velveteen Rabbit Bookshop & Guest House is excited to announce that local author Dick Wanie will be signing copies of his new book, "Outdoors Calling Revisited!" In 1971, Mr. Wanie began writing a weekly nature column, Outdoors Calling, for the Daily Jefferson County Union. The column was a great success that went on for many years, accumulating over 900 articles. "Outdoors Calling Revisited" is a carefully selected collection of Mr. Wanie's favorite columns from the past--plus some all-new material!
