Six Characters in Search of an Author - February 17, 2011
Aquila Theatre presents Nobel Laureate Luigi Pirandello's most famous drama - Six Characters in Search of an Author. The play opens with a group of actors preparing to rehearse for a Pirandello play, who are interrupted by the arrival of six nameless characters. The six characters are searching for an author to finish their story as they continue to question the reality of their situation. Complications ensue!

Freeze Fest - February 19, 2011

The City Of Whitewater, UW-Whitewater, Special Olympics and Downtown
Freeze FestWhitewater Inc. will host Freeze Fest in downtown Whitewater. Whitewater residents, students and visitors will be shaking off cabin fever as they plunge into the icy waters to raise money for Special Olympics. Start the day with a Pancake Breakfast at the Downtown Armory, then off to Cravath Lakefront Building for a family entertainment show. Courageous polar bear plungers will start the first icy dive at noon, while Big Brick Park will be open for afternoon ice-skating. Warm up with a chili cook-off at the Cravath Lakefront warming tent or with a Show Dogs Presentation at the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library.
